Amy Greenspan (Class of 2018) was chosen for a Stop Motion Animation Internship at LAIKA Studios ("Coraline", "Kubo and the Two Strings", etc.). She will be spending the summer learning from some of the world's top stop motion animators under the guidance of LAIKA's Animation Supervisor, Brad Schiff (Class of 1995). Amy Greenspan also received this year's Richard Protovin Award of $1,000.00.
Two students received the James R. Janowsky Awards of $1,000.00 each. The students are Kelsey Black (Class of 2017) for her film Counting to Infinity in Groups of Three and Allison Jones (class of 2017) for her film Anxiety.
Kelsey Black (Counting to Infinity in Groups of Three) and Allison Jones (ANXIETY) were both awarded The National Board of Review Student Grants receiving $3,500.00 for each of their films.
