Shop Theater

Located on the 2nd floor of the Tisch School’s anchor building, 721 Broadway, Tisch Drama’s Shop Theater is an 800 square foot black box venue. It seats some 50 people and has a full LED theatrical lighting system and enclosed raised control booth. There is an upright piano in the venue. The Shop Theater typically houses Student Works productions and also serves as an acting/vocal performance class venue.

The Dressing Room/Green Room for the Shop Theatre is directly adjacent to the south-east door and has mirrors, lights, a costume storage cabinet, and a dressing table along one wall. Front of house lobby space for the Shop Theater is shared with shows performing in the Loewe Theatre across the hall.
