Both departments present fully realized mainstage productions and the theater serves as a training ground for students seeking a career in the performing arts industry.

The ICT is NYU’s newest professional proscenium theater and has full technical amenities such as sound, projection, lighting, fly rail system, and automatic staging. The theater features a raked, three-level continental seating configuration that accommodates approximately 350 guests

Located within the John A. Paulson Center, the entrance to the ICT is located at 38 W. Houston Street.  The box office is in the first floor Performing Arts Lobby, and the main entrance to the theater is located on the Mezzanine Lobby level.
