Recently, Tisch Drama’s “Behind the Scenes” sat down with the Festival of Voices directors and the festival's curator to discuss their artistic vision for the festival and their experiences working with Tisch Drama students.
This year, TISCH DRAMA STAGE’S Festival of Voices tackles social issues affecting communities in and around New York City, including community mobilization, housing, and culture and marginalized voices. In collaboration with artists, educators, and community organizers, the festival incorporates various lived experiences to explore important topics such as immigration and the legal system, housing insecurity, and labor inequality.
