“The Aftermath”—The Work Ahead: Conversations on Civil Rights and Affirmative Action

In the aftermath of the US Supreme Court’s significant ruling on admissions practices at Harvard University and the University of North Carolina, we must now critically examine the implications of this ruling for universities and beyond.

EducationCounsel’s managing partner and co-founder, Art Coleman, and the Office of Global Inclusion’s senior vice president for global inclusion and strategic innovation, Dr. Lisa Coleman, will be in conversation to help break this down.

The Work Ahead: Conversations on Civil Rights and Affirmative Action is a three-part series taking place throughout the spring and summer. We will bring together experts to break down “what’s at stake,” “a path forward,” and “the aftermath” of the SCOTUS rulings.

Hosted by the Office of Global Inclusion, Diversity, and Strategic Innovation (OGI) and the Office of the Provost. Open to all NYU staff, faculty, and students.
