NewFest: New York Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender Film Festival is one of the leading film festivals celebrating and uplifting LGBTQ+ media. This year the LGBTQ+ Center is taking queer grad students to the showing of Before I Change My Mind, a coming-of-age film set in the ’80s about an androgynous teen. The premiere is at the NiteHawk Cinema in Prospect Park.
