Richard Move, Assistant Arts Professor in the Department of Dance at the Tisch School of the Arts, has been awarded a 2023 Guggenheim Fellowship, among four other NYU faculty.
Richard Move, Ph.D., M.F.A. is a TED Global Oxford Fellow, New York Public Library Dance Research Fellow, Artistic Director of MoveOpolis! and Assistant Arts Professor of Dance at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Move's choreographic commissions include productions for Mikhail Baryshnikov and the White Oak Dance Project, two works for the Martha Graham Dance Company and a solo for New York City Ballet Principal, Heléne Alexopoulos.
