Jenny Hsu

Jenny is an audiovisual preservationist, who has a research interest in the preservation of video art, the performing arts, and time-based media. She currently works as a graduate archival assistant within the NYU Cinema Studies Department, where her primary responsibility is inspecting and repairing film. She is also trained in 16mm film projection. In her first year at MIAP, she has completed two enriching internships at the La MaMa E.T.C. Archive and Video Data Bank. In Fall 2023, she will be interning at NYU Libraries, Barbara Goldsmith Preservation & Conservation Department.
