Benjamin Rubin

Ben Rubin received a B.A. from the University of Alabama majoring in Telecommunications and Film, with a concentration in Critical Studies, and minoring in Anthropology.  He has worked with professionals on museum-based film collections as well as on the private collections at Georgetown University Library focusing on archival work, film festivals and exhibit curation.  While at MIAP, he hopes to concentrate on the practice of preserving primary film materials and how to best make those films accessible to researchers, historians, scholars, documentary filmmakers, and the public at large, so they can interpret and reinterpret history.
