I spent my summer internship at the JDC Archives, a division of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee. The organization has provided aid to Jewish communities, refugees, and victims of natural disasters since 1914, and the archives consists of documents, books, oral histories, film, and video. I worked with the video collection, splitting my time between the Manhattan office and the storage location in Long Island City. I accessioned new items, deaccessioned material, and created records in the database.
