Under the supervision of Amy Sloper, I was an intern for the Wisconsin Center for Film and Theater Research, working on projects that involved film handling and inspection, collection assessment, and prioritizing items for preservation. Among the projects were the works of Harold Mayer, of which 98 items were inspected, cleaned, rehoused, and assessed; the ComArts trailer collection, of which 625 items, mostly film trailers dating from 1989 to 2012, including some pre-roll ads, were cataloged and placed in WCFTR’s vault; and finally the Robert Abel and Associates Collection, which encompassed 250 film items from the acclaimed commercial production house, which were inspected and rehoused in archival cans.
