In Spring 2020, I had my first internship in my two-year MIAP program. My internship placement was at Special Collections, New York University Libraries. The main responsibility for me as an audiovisual archivist intern was handling and creating archival description Asian CineVision Records, a collection documents Asian American experience and media productions. The collection contains video tapes of 1/2 inch open-reel and U-matic tapes. My internship is definitely a fruitful, rewarding and innovative learning and creative journey.
