In my Spring internship, I mainly assessed the AV materials in the marketing and program collection of the LCPA archive. The archive right now is within their pre-state processing progress. That means, the now created inventory spreadsheet will serve as a base for further decision making processing such as prioritization, deaccession, etc. Once I finished my assessment part, I set up an AV digitization station for the archive. Until now, the archive was only able to digitize AV materials in access file format such as ProRes formats. Now, they have the opportunity to digitize uncompressed files, which is better for future AV digitization projects. In addition, I created an AV identification and digitization guideline for the archive.
