Karl McCool, NYPL - Film and Video Reserve, Spring 2014, HFPA
During his internship Karl inspected, physically processed, and cataloged films entering the Reserve Film and Video Collection at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, helping to determine which prints would be accessioned by NYPL. In addition, he assisted on two preservation projects: for Los Sures (Diego Echeverria, 1984) and for several films from the Young Filmmakers Collection of films from the 1960s and 70s. Prints he worked with went out on public exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Swedish Film Institute, International House Philadelphia, among other venues.
