Yvonne Ng sharpened her skills in film identification, inspection, repair, and re-housing, affecting over 43,000 feet of film from the Communist Party USA collection of the Tamiment Library/Wagner Labor Archives. In the Preservation Department, where multiple projects were going on – from video digitization to the development of a new surveying tool for condition assessment – Ng reported she found the right combination of independent work and professional guidance.
