Throughout the Fall of 2021, I inventoried and inspected over 600 mixed media items at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn. Modifying and refining previous inventories, and adding new metadata fields for each format, this new model will provide a foundation for the gathering of data on the Diocese's diverse audiovisual collections in the future.

As a conclusion to this internship, in consultation with the archivist, the Senior Priest Oral History collection master tapes would be preserved by an outside vendor. I wrote a Request for Proposals to have the 54 MiniDV tapes reformatted, and prepared a list of potential vendors for the project. After estimating storage needs for the digital files, I proposed a hybrid cloud/local storage model, and provided a list of funding opportunities.
