At San Francisco Art Institute Legacy Foundation and Archive, I was tasked with helping to preserve the moving image history of the San Francisco Art Institute, one of the most influential arts colleges in the United States, Much of my internship was spent editing digital video transfers of archived MiniDV or VHS tapes into 1-5 minute clips that could be presented at SFAI: Campus Views, a screening at SFMOMA of various works associated with SFAI. This screening was also the inaugural event of SFMOMA's exhibition People Make This Place: SFAI Stories, which will be on display until July of 2026.

In addition to my video editing work, I also developed a suggested workflow for magnetic media digitization, digitized several materials, and thoroughly examined the 16mm film collection, testing every catalogued film for acetate deterioration as well as identifying rare and notable titles.
