The Yale Film Archive provided a window into the professional workflows of mainstream feature film, documentaries, experimental works, and independent audiovisual creations. During the course of the internship the site offered an opportunity to get closer to the processes of analog film inspection and cataloging (35mm, 16mm, S/8mm). The experience bridged many of the concepts learned throughout the first year of the MIAP coursework by focusing on the intersecting practices that conform the materiality of film, its dissemination, and exhibition.
