The Flaherty/International Film Seminar, Division of Archives
This Spring 2023 I interned at the The Flaherty, working together with Anne de Mare and Yasmin Desouki for the Flaherty and International Film Seminar Audio Visual Collection. Particularly, the collection from the Iron Mountain Storage, the Flaherty Farm, Claremont, and the Brooklyn Office. My internship consisted of a range of tasks, which are creating and updating the inventory, collection assessment, and film inspection. I am creating an item level approach for AV collection and box level approach for Non AV Collection. It's nice to make a note and highlight any AV and Non AV materials for the need of pre repatriation of Nanook of the North (1922).
