Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Archives/Knowledge and Legacy
While interning at the Knowledge and Legacy department at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts I inventoried the Audio collection. In doing so I created two types of inventories, one detailed focusing on the Oral History Tapes and the other for audio materials in the general archive. A box level inventory was also created using the platform Monday.com. I produced documentation defining the terms in each inventory, and rehoused some of the items that lacked appropriate housing. I also wrote the draft to sections 2 and 3 for a CLIR grant. As a result, I learned more about creating inventories that are cohesive, and that can be filled in by other people. I became more familiar with audio formats and their preservation needs. I also was able to learn from participating in staff meetings and through mentorship from my supervisor.
