André Novais Oliveira is an award-winning filmmaker from Contagem, Minas Gerais, Brazil. His films have played in festivals such as Cannes, Locarno, Brasília, New Directors/New Films, FidMarseille, among others. The screening will be followed by a conversation with director André Novais, Jens Andermann (professor, Spanish and Portuguese Language and Literature), Juana Suarez (director, Moving Image Archiving and Preservation), and Leonard Cortana (PhD Student, Cinema Studies).

Free and open to the public.
