Juan Pablo Caicedo Torres (a.k.a kycto) is a Colombian multidisciplinary artist and cultural manager who works through visual arts, performance, audiovisual installation, public space interventions, community art practices and experimental pedagogy. His research focuses on social and environmental conflicts, decoloniality and critical urbanism. His investigation is supported by the analysis of media and an archive of images, soundscapes and writings produced and collected throughout his experience. His work operates as a device for resistance, collaborative learning and solidarity networks.
What drew you to the M.A. in Arts Politics:
What drew me to the M.A. in Arts Politics was its critical stance, the interdisciplinary approach of its students and the chance to deepen the wide range of practices I am interested in.
