Art and Public Policy Alum Xyza Cruz Bakani will be speaking at the Asia Society as part of their ‘Up Close’ series, which presents interactive and inspirational sessions with the emerging and established leaders from across Asia Pacific sharing their leadership stories.

Through their creative expressions, artists have and continue to utilize the transformative power of art as a form of protest; to draw attention to social issues; and to inspire individuals to take action and create change. Do artists have a responsibility to serve as a force for social change?

The event will take place on November 20th at 6:30pm.
