The newest issue of Of Note Magazine, edited by Grace Aneiza Ali, focuses on gun violence as a women's issue.
Collectively, these artists are reclaiming the gun from a weapon of destruction into a tool of resistance. To do so they engage the art of poetry, theater, photography, sculpture, performance, and painting, among other mediums. After taking the Artists, Social Change and the Role of Journalism course, which created Of Note Magazine's The Water Issue in 2016, Katie Beeton ('16) continued to contribute to the publication for The Gun Issue with her piece "Kadie Salfi: Guns of Mass Destruction".
