Cleo Barnett works as Curator and Programs Manager for the Amplifier Foundation. Cleo acted on behalf of the organization as a judge for a public call for art for the Women's March on Washington. Other judges included Carmen Perez and Paola Mendoza from the Women's March, and artists Swoon, Jess X. Snow and Favianna Rodriguez.
Posters chosen from the call became part of a collection of artwork for Amplifier Foundation's We The People: Art of the Inauguration and Beyond, a campaign which raised over $1mil on Kickstarter and garnered mass media and public support to make the artwork available for free download and accessible through ad-buys in the Washington Post that people could tear out and take to the streets.
