Arts Politics Alum Facilitating Virtual Workshops around Transformative Justice

Anooj Bhandari (APP '17) is facilitating virtual community organizing workshops around topics of Transformative Justice and the Abolition of the Carceral State. These workshops are intended to introduce frameworks around these practices, and to make space for dialogue around active resistance to and deconstruction of anti-blackness in communities. 100% of the proceeds for the workshops will go towards the Black Visions Collective, OR a Local Bail Fund or Black Led Organizing Group currently doing movement work around Black Lives Matter. For corporations, the minimum donation is $500/hr, for education spaces and nonprofits, $250/hr, and for Black, Indigenous, PoC, Queer, and Trans led community initiatives, non-funded projects, and family/friend spaces, the donation is simply whatever amount you feel comfortable with.
