Tisch at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival

Celebrating 27 Years at the Sundance Film Festival

For 27 years, NYU Tisch School of the Arts has had a presence at the Sundance Film Festival. We were proud to continue our support of independent and creative storytelling in January 2020.

Tisch students and alumni continue to provide talent in front of and behind the camera, as evidenced by the 2020 Sundance Film Festival selections. This year, nine of the films in competition were written, directed, or produced by a Tisch alumnus/a, and more than 40% of the features and nearly ⅓ of the projects overall in the festival have a Tisch affiliation.

In addition to our annual Tisch Alumni Party, we will re-open TISCH ON MAIN, an exclusive home on Main Street for alumni to rest, recharge, and meet other alumni during the first weekend of the festival.

ALL TISCH AFFILIATIONS

Tisch's Sundance Film Festival Affiliations lists will continue to be updated as we learn of more alumni who are involved with projects. Please contact us at tsoa.alumni@nyu.edu if you have a film or project at the festival and it is not included here.

Tisch’s presence at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival was made possible by philanthropic support from Ms. Liz Angelone & Dr. James R. Morris, Molly & Sean Durkin, Amy P. & Frank M. Garrison, and Kay and John Stanney.
