Carrie A. Meconis
Senior Director, Faculty Development and Administration
Carrie Meconis is the Director in the Office of Faculty. She is happy to be a part of the TSOA administration after graduating with a BFA from Drama in Dec of 2001 and working as Associate Production Manager in the Department of Drama for 4 years. Her career before coming to work at NYU was as a professional stage manager on and off Broadway. She was the production supervisor for 5 summers at a regional theatre in New Canaan, CT. Shows there included: Music Man, Twelfth Night, A Muse In Love, Peter Pan, Sound of Music, and Cinderella. Broadway and national tour credits include: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Graduate, Gypsy, The Vagina Monologues, The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe, and True West. Off-Broadway credits include: Grey Gardens for Playwrights Horizons Theatre Company, McReele for Roundabout Theatre Company, and I Love You, You're Perfect. Carrie is a proud mother of 4 amazing children and an avid runner.
