Cinema Studies

Study the history, theory, and aesthetics of film in one of the first university departments devoted to studying the art form. Hone your critical voice and develop a trained eye and ear, and practice in-depth, careful analysis of moving images. Come examine cinema as a form of mass culture. Courses this summer include Film Directors: Mike Leigh, Films of Alfred Hitchcock, and Topics in Korean Cinema.
