The information below outlines your next steps and other important program details.
Your acceptance email explains what you need to do in order to confirm that you plan to attend the program. To confirm your spot, you will need to pay the full program amount of $8,008 by eCheck, wire transfer, or personal check and accept your place in the program by Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
Log in to NYUHome - Go to http://home.nyu.edu and enter your NetID and password. Visit the various tabs to familiarize yourself with the layout and information available.
Log in to Albert - From the NYUHome Welcome screen, click on the tab labeled “Academics.” On the upper left side of the Academics page, click the box labeled “Albert Login.” You will now be at the Albert Welcome screen. Albert is NYU’s student information system.
After 24 hours, you may now activate your NYU email account by returning to the "Start" page (http://start.nyu.edu) and logging in with your NetID and password then selecting the menu option "Set an NYU Google Apps for Education password".
You can check your NYU email by logging into NYUHome and click the “Email” link, or navigate directly to email.nyu.edu, and using your NYUHome credentials. All NYU correspondence from this point on will be sent to your NYU email address. Your NYU email address consists of your Net ID@nyu.edu.
Special Note for Waitlisted Students: If enrollment for a course reaches capacity, additional registrants will be added to the waitlist. Waitlisted candidates will be notified if additional space in the class becomes available. Students who are taken off the waitlist will be able to access their NYU email 24 hours after they accept their offer of admission.
International students can submit final payment via this site.

Registration will begin after Wednesday, September 17, 2025. When accepting your place in the program, you paid your tuition and fees. Once you are registered in your program, you can view your bill by logging into your NYU Student Center and clicking on the “Finances” tab. Information about how to view your account can be found on the NYU Bursar website. If you have questions about paying your bill, please contact the NYU Bursar Office.

In order to participate in the Online High School Filmmakers Workshop or Online High School Screenwriters Workshop programs, all students must submit the NYU Program Forms.

Students will receive an email with a link to Slate (all forms are electronic and available via the link) with submission instructions. Forms require the signatures of both students and parents.

Full payment and completion of all forms by the program start dates are required for all students.
You will be utilizing the Smashcut platform to take this course. Closer to the start date of the program, we will be emailing you a link that will direct you to create your Smashcut accounts. For the best experience, please use the Chrome web browser when registering your account. You can download the latest version of Chrome here.
After you create your accounts, the Smashcut team will reach out with a welcome email and give you access to the Help Center, as well as a tutorial on how to use the site. Once your account is created, you will also be able to begin your class.

Students should review the rules and policies set forth here regarding academic standards which encompass attendance, academic honesty, and other areas. These standards are available on the NYU High School Programs Handbook website.
Students and parents/guardians should discuss with each other the rules and policies set forth here. Please be advised that due to the particular nature of NYU programs, certain student conduct policies are considered to be fundamental to the success of the program.
Failure to comply with the rules and policies of the University and/or of NYU programs may lead to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal from a program with no refund of tuition or fees.

During the 6 weeks of the Tisch Online High School Filmmakers Workshop or the Tisch Online High School Screenwriters Workshop, students will earn 4 college credits. Each college or university has its own transfer policy, so students will need to inquire how credits earned in the Tisch Online High School workshops can be applied once they are admitted to an undergraduate program.
For those who matriculate in a future semester as an undergraduate student at NYU, credits taken in a Tisch high school program are automatically applied to your degree. Please keep in mind that the grade you receive in a high school summer program will be factored into your GPA upon matriculation as a full-time student.
All grades will be posted before the end of December 2025, but academic transcripts ARE NOT automatically sent at the end of the summer. If students would like an academic transcript, they can submit a request by:

Transcripts can be requested at any time. When making requests in person, photo ID must be presented. Mailed or faxed requests require the signature of the student. Only the student can make a request for his or her grades. Please note that any students who have not completely paid all charges attributed to their program will not be able to request a transcript until their Bursar account is settled. Please include the student identification number or N# in the email correspondence or have it ready when calling the Office of the Bursar.
