Topics in Cuban Culture class
NYU undergraduate students recently took a study trip to Havana, Cuba as part of the fall 2015 Tisch Open Arts course Topics in Cuban Culture. Highlights from the one-week study trip include a guided walking tour of Old Havana; a performance by the Zenon Dance Company at Teatro Marti; a dance session with Danza Contemporanea at National Theatre; a visit to the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes with a lecture on contemporary Cuban Art and a screening of the film The Cuban Excludables followed by a discussion with Estela Bravo at the Ludwig Foundation of Cuba.
