No where else in the world can you find the range of disciplines in one school. Over the last 50 years as we forged new programs, built our home in New York and expanded to our global academic centers, institutes emerged. Each are built with shared values, common goals, and a priority for putting students first. The result – a place where artists and scholars create the future.
Attend an immersive acting workshop with Jim Calder, master teacher and head of movement at NYU Tisch Graduate Acting.
Experience some of the practical training covered in the summer study abroad program Commedia dell'Arte in Florence. You will take part in improvisation and mask and character work, challenging your intentions and movements to bring your characters to life.
This workshop is to give prospective Commedia dell’Arte students exposure to what the six-week Florence program is all about. You will also have an opportunity to speak with program alumni about their experience abroad.
This event is open to all NYU and visiting undergraduate college students.
