Love & Rage: The New Faces of Climate Activism focuses on the Youth Activists who are becoming the face of the Climate Crisis Movement in New York, as leaders and founders  “Fridays for Future NYC”, and “XR Youth NYC”. Over the course of 5 months, photographer Anna Betts attended their weekly meetings. Rather than solely being an observer, she became a participant. By photographing these subjects, Betts aims to make these youth activists not only known but also heard, in order for them to reach an even broader community. She aims to illustrate and exhibit their frustrations, courage, competence, potential, dedication, and optimism that delightfully persists through this uncertain and bleak political climate
