Thursday, Oct 29, 2020

Congratulations to our Alums Rian Dundon, Alan Chin, and Alice Proujansky. They have been selected by the Magnum Foundation who will support the development of their short-term visual projects related to the 2020 US election.

Rian Dundon: Tracing how social movements become fodder for media content and citizen surveillance.

Alice Proujansky: Documenting the evidence-based, culturally-focused care provided by Black birth workers at a birthing center that is seeing an uptick in interest during the health crisis.

Alan Chin: Offering a personal, in-depth look at the impact of the pandemic on Chinatown and the path to recovery.

Three images: First one is a man dress in black behind bushes holding a camera and wearing a hazmat mask. Second image is a women and child behind a lady who is giving birth. The final image is a women sitting on some steps with a face mask.
