DPI Professor Joseph Rodriguez created a photo essay for The Washington Post Magazine in which he documents reentry for Scott Oritz, a 15 year veteran of Fishkill Correctional Facilitiy in New York. Ortiz is a participant in the Osborne Association’s Elder Reentry Initiative, a program that prepares older adults for their return home and connects them to resources. Reentry has been a recurring subject throughout Rodriguez's photojournalism career.
