DPI Chair Deb Willis
On February 8, 2024, President Biden announced DPI Chair Deborah Willis as a nominee to be a Member on the National Council on the Humanities. The National Council on the Humanities advises the Chair of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), and is a board of twenty-six distinguished private citizens appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate. The National Council members serve staggered six-year terms.
