Why PS @ NYU?
I initially started off my journey as a performer with a pure interest in music. Over time, not only did I enjoy the very moment of being on stage but I also realized the value of pre-/post-performance processes, such as rehearsals and audience reception, to be as essential as the performance itself. I was fascinated by how different interactions between various combinations of performers, acoustics and contexts can highlight different aspects of one single creation and give off subtly different vibes each time.
I believe the Arts is the microcosm of our world in a sense that people, place, emotion and time create countless different permutations of daily life. What I realized and felt through those experiences perfectly aligned with what PS believes in and thrives to create and that's when I knew PS is the right place for me.
