Performance Studies faculty, students and alumni have taken part in a new exhibition presented by the Zip Code Memory Project. Co-Directed by Professor Diana Taylor, the exhibition wil feature an opening night performance by PS' own Professor Fred Moten, projects by Maria José Contreras, and contributions by PS M.A. Candidate Andres Fluffy Aguilar.

IMAGINE REPAIR is a celebration of the power of community and care demonstrated by neighborhoods unequally affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. Following several months of creative workshops engaging participants from across Upper N.Y.C. The exhibition includes projects produced by community participants in ongoing workshops, along with works  by Birim Bademli, Kamal Badhey, Erachie Brown, Cathleen Campbell, Jordan Cruz, Maria José Contreras, Yves Dossous, Leah Elimeliah, Judith Helfand & Gabriella Canal, Sonja Jean Killebrew, Chelsea Knight, Seçil Koman, Candance Leslie, Sandra Long, Susan Meiselas, Zahied Tony Mohammed, Jim Mutton, Lorie Novak, Desiree Rios, Carrie Mae Weems, and Deborah Willis. In collaboration with the Brooklyn Museum, a satellite installation of Rafael Lozano-Hemmer’s A Crack in the Hourglass, An Ongoing Memorial for the Victims of Covid-19 invites visitors to add portraits and stories about those they lost to the work’s online archive at acrackinthehourglass.net.
