Sarah Kozinn

Sarah is a theater professor at Occidental College in Los Angeles and the author of the book Justice Performed: Courtroom TV Shows and the Theaters of Popular Law, published by Bloomsbury Methuen Drama (2015).  She balances an acting, directing, and writing career with her scholarly investigations into the intersections between law and performance.

Her dissertation won the Brooks McNamara Memorial Award. She was also the recipient of the NYU Performance Studies Award and the Paula Goddard Award in performance scholarship.
