Tiri Kananuruk and Sebastián Morales, ITP Alumni, won the bronze award for excellence in design from the presitigous A-Design Award and Competition. They won for designing Nopales, a lamp "inspired by the landscapes of [Morales's] Mexican upbringing and our passion for developing creative hardware. We wanted to reframe Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)s beyond their technical existence, to expose the material's beauty and transform it into something tactile, delightful and captivating," according to the artists.
