ITP Alum Hana Iverson has been appointed a Visiting Research Scholar at the new Charles Library of Temple University to lead the development of Discover Rosenwald,  an exciting large-scale public art and digital humanities project.

Discover Rosenwald is a collaborative initiative bringing together a talented group of professionals from Temple University, the Library of Congress and the National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C. It will showcase one of the United State’s national treasures by making the historic Lessing J. Rosenwald rare book, print and drawing collection and their related archives accessible to the general public for the first time using innovative digital techniques.

With the input of past and present curators, Rosenwald family members and associated scholars, artists and organizations throughout the Philadelphia region, we will examine and respond to the many themes that define the Rosenwald collection, including German-Jewish immigration and assimilation, collecting during WWII, cultural philanthropy and the national role of artists, collectors and scholars.
