Toronto-born SENAIDA (pronounced “Shuh-nay-duh”) is a Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist, sound architect, DJ, curator, creative entrepreneur, cyberfeminist and futurist. Their work explores the intersections of art, emerging technologies, and sustainability to create collective liminal experiences.
As the founder and resident DJ of WE ARE THE FUTURE!, an underground interdisciplinary collective, label and curated art party in NYC, SENAIDA brings innovation to the forefront. They have released guest mixes for FrittoFM, No Signal, Reform Radio, Snatchers and HKCR. SENAIDA hosts "Zeroes + Ones" on WNYU 89.1 FM, and was a resident at XPIZZA (NYC).
After returning from a study abroad semester in Berlin in 2022, SENAIDA transitioned into being a DJ and in only a few short months had played at NYFW, the Shorty Awards, and PopCon as well as sold-out shows at Virgo (NYC), The Chocolate Factory (Brooklyn), The Sultan Room (Brooklyn), Bossa Nova Civic Club (Brooklyn), OXI (Berlin), and Eclipse Club Chia (Colombia). Their work takes inspiration from sonic cyberfeminism and explorations in cyborgism.
As a visionary artist, SENAIDA has been invited to speak on panels at Abbey Road Red, NAMM, Cannes Next and NYU Tisch. In 2024, SENAIDA partnered with TRINITI AI to drop the first collaborative, generative album — KUNST KAPUTT.
