Effy Yue Fan

Effy is a creative technologist, world traveler, and explorer of the unknown. Now living in East Village, NYC and originally from Canton, China, Effy has lived in Oregon, Los Angeles, Kyoto, and Barcelona. She lived in a Hippie Commune in Eugene, Oregon, working with experimental horticulture and raising chickens. She worked as a New Anchor for Phoenix Satellite TV U.S. where she spoke in her mother tongue, Cantonese. Now, she am focusing on data-driven design and technology in multimedia platforms.

Effy got her Undergraduate Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon and did projects in Urban Design, Smart Cities, and Site-specific Art Installation. She is currently pursuing a master's degree from NYU ITP.
