Eden Chinn
Resident Researcher
Eden Chinn is an artist, curator, and educator whose work explores the performance of femininity and the construction of self through media. Using photography, installation, and bookmaking, her work reflects on how the various media we consume shape our identities and self-expression.
In her research residency at NYU, she leads the Design Lab and contributes to the Equitable Working Group. In the spring, she will be teaching an undergraduate course titled All Resistance is a Creative Act: Art & Activism. She is currently a Youth Teaching Fellow at the New Museum for the Youth Spectrum Arts Program and a Teaching Artist at Marquis Studios. She is a co-founder of All Street NYC, an alternative gallery space collaborating with emerging and underrepresented artists to produce art exhibitions and community-oriented programming.
