Events

The Tisch ITP/IMA space hosts many activities, guest speakers and recruitment events by leading tech companies and design firms. Our busy schedule includes lectures, workshops, exhibitions, tournaments, and hackathons. All of these events are free and open to members of the ITP/IMA/NYU community—priority will be given to ITP/IMA majors.

Some activities are open to the general public as well—those will be marked accordingly.

We hope to see you at ITP/IMA event soon!

Winter/Spring Shows
Each May and December we are proud to host the ITP/IMA Spring and Winter Shows.  The Shows are a two day showcase of recent creative interactive projects by the students of the ITP/ IMA / LowRes programs.  The shows are free and open to the public.  Please check back for further information on upcoming show dates and times, and how to obtain a free ticket to attend.

ITP Thesis Week
Each May all graduating ITP and IMA students present their thesis projects to the assembled ITP/IMA full-time faculty, fellow students, and friends and family via a live stream.  This is an opportunity to celebrate the work of our talented students and for each student to have a dedicated period of time to highlight their accomplishment and share their ideas with the ITP/IMA community.  Please check back in May for dates and times, and instructions on how to access the live stream.

ITP Camp
Each June ITP/IMA is excited to host the month-long ITP Summer Camp.  ITP Camp is a summer camp for adults -- it is a chance for those who cannot join our graduate program to be here for a month on a non-degree baseis and explore coding, fabrication, and all manner of emerging media in an dynamic environment where there are many fast moving workshops and talks offered by a wide range of people including ITP faculty, ITP alums, outside experts, as well as those participating in the camp.   Detailed information about the next ITP Summer Camp is available each spring so please check back for dates, times, pricing, and how to apply.
