Brooke Trumm (Cycle 30), Erkia Ji (Cycle 30), Kat Cartusciello (Cycle 30), Julio Vaquero (Cycle 31), Mason McDowell (Cycle 31), and Utsav Bhargava (Cycle 31) recently participated in the 52nd Street Project’s Songmaking Workshop. The lyrics were written by young members of The 52nd Street Project, a not-for-profit organization that has served the children of New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen since 1981. The six GMTWP composers collaborated with the children to create original songs. Avi A. Amon (Cycle 22) mixed and mastered the music for six videos edited by Ross Vedder and performed by Broadway actors.
