Congratulations to alumnae Maryann Brandon and her editing partner Mary Jo Markey, who have been nominated for a Best Film Editing Oscar by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for their work on Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
We also wish to congratulate alumnus László Nemes, whose critically acclaimed film Son of Saul has been nominated for Best Foreign Language Film. This Oscar nomination follows the film's recent Golden Globes win for Best Foreign Language Film.
