Global Game Jam 2026 at the NYU Game Center

We are very excited to welcome you for the annual Global Game Jam! The site is part of New York University and is an IN PERSON jam site, held in the NYU Game Center - located on the 6th Floor of 370 Jay St, Brooklyn. Join us for a weekend of jamming, complete with an opening and closing ceremony with a co-working day in between.

This year we are bringing an additional sense to your game design: SCENT! The Omara Scent Display, powered by OVR Technology, will be on display at the Global Game Jam event this year. The OVR plug-ins for Unreal and Unity will also be available to all Jammers during the event.
During the event the OVR Team will be live on-site to provide game demos, answer your questions, and help you create an awesome scented game experience.
Jammers that participate in OVR’s GGJ diversifier (additional challenge for the jam) and create a scent-enabled game will be qualified to win the OVR Outstanding Scent Experience award.
