Yige Duan is a NY-based Chinese filmmaker and a graduate of NYU’s BFA program in Film & Television. Shaped by the experience of growing up as a queer Chinese immigrant, Yige seeks to render the intangible and luminous through cinema, production design, and poetry. Their work gravitates toward themes of labor, immigration, and the fragile intricacies of human connection. With this distinct background, Yige brings a unique lens to storytelling, positioning them to explore the depths of documentary filmmaking with both sensitivity and clarity.
