Hector Valentine Jr (or Jr if you know him) is a filmmaker from Jamaica, Queens. He is now in his final year studying Film & Television at Tisch School of the Arts. Growing up, he desired to tell science fiction and monster stories, but, as he has refined his craft, he has become equally interested in telling stories centered on exploring complex relationships between real-world characters. Ant’s Hill was spurred by Hector's desire to tell a story intertwined with themes relevant to his life, such as sibling relationships, the effects of anger, and legacy.
